happy pie

last night for relief society meeting,
there was a cute pie demonstration.

i learned a few tricks & made an apple today.

definitely not the prettiest pie ever
{i need to work on my edges}

but it sure tasted yummy &
i accomplished something i've never done before! ♥

it's making out to be a perfect day. ♥

the munchkin wanted to "make her toys into families"....so we did.

i learned 2 things:

1. i have the funnest job - playing toys with a 3 year old is hilarious.

2. we might go to mcdonalds a lot. there's a whole lotta chicken-nug kids meals represented in that pile. ;)

nothing sweeter than an [overdue] freshly mopped floor before bedtime.
how blessed it shall be to wake up to that sight. :)

this was my soundtrack while mopping [cinderella style] tonight.
oh, how i needed those words, once again.

so very grateful for modern day revelation &
that tomorrow will bring a fresh floor & a fresh slate.

bandaids.
they keep her busy like nothing else does.

in fact, a box of bandaids is what got her through
the last leg of our recent cali roadtrip.

i know someday i'm going to miss picking up those wrappers everywhere...

remember the time this little stinker decided
to cut her own mullet while i was at work?
{ya, me too.}

i shed a few tears &
aunt barbie worked her magic & was able to save some length...

now we wait for some of the crazy bang layers to grow out,
and laugh hysterically that the inevitable finally happened...

& i thought they were keepers.
